Three years slipped quietly by. To complete her graduation practicum, Harei had to do fifty things she had never done before on a budget of 1,000 yuan. She had barely taken a few steps off campus when she spotted a mysterious bookstall on a street corner. With a deft twist of her fingers, the stall’s owner, a girl with twin tails, fanned out several secret manuals in her hand like a peacock spreading its tail.Three years slipped quietly by. Once she had learned everything in the book, the girl went back to the bookstall to trade it in for a new one, only to find the stall deserted and its owner long gone. But that was no obstacle for Harei, now a full-fledged exorcist: a single sweep of her spirit sight was all it took to pick up the owner’s trail, which eventually led her to a suspicious company with the letters “VR” on it.Once she had learned everything in the book, the girl went back to the bookstall to trade it in for a new one, only to find the stall deserted and its owner long gone.
