“It’s Chuchu! An alien from Earth!”
As Chuchu walked down the street, her ponytail swung from side to side behind her. Watching the passersby, she couldn’t help shaking her head with a sigh: “Ah, poor Earthlings. Chuchu has been lying low on Earth as an alien spy for all these years, and nobody’s noticed a thing. Today’s goal—I’ve decided—is to find the spot with the best communication signal!”
Suddenly the sky grew overcast, an eerie green light flooded the land, and atop a tall building in the distance, a bright green exclamation mark slowly took shape! Yet the passersby around her didn’t seem to see it at all.
Chuchu’s eyes lit up. “Oh my gosh, have my alien overlords finally come to contact me?!” Then she had second thoughts: “I hope this isn’t a trap the Earthlings have set for me. I’ll find somewhere nearby to lie low first. Let’s goooooooo~” Hopping and skipping, she happily dashed into a nearby restaurant.
But all the window seats with a good view were taken, so Chuchu had no choice but to pick out a customer at random who looked fairly easygoing.
“Hello! Please give me your seat. I need to climb to the very top of that company across the street,” Chuchu declared, brimming with confidence.
The customer, dressed in a suit, looked surprised, then flashed a crooked grin. “Such ambition the moment we meet? Very good—you’re hired!” And with a snap of the fingers, a sea of people surged up from behind and carried Chuchu into the company.
“I meant the rooftop! The ROOFTOP!” Chuchu shrieked.
“I know,” the customer replied with a sincere smile.
More to come. Stay tuned.
