VirtuaReal’s new members revealed! We’re always recruiting~

Happy New Year—

VirtuaReal is welcoming new members once again!

Who will tell your fortune for the new year?

And what’s the truth behind the urban legend of a giant bird?

Come meet these four girls!

• Sybil

Sybil is a brilliant fortune-teller, but there’s one teeny little problem: you can always trust Sybil’s fortunes—you just have to believe the opposite. Sure, her prophecies can be a little ambiguous to interpret, but in the end, you’ll find they always turn out to be the exact opposite of what actually happens.

Now, in hopes of sharpening her powers of prophecy, Sybil has come to Britain in search of the legendary school of magic. And to find this academy hidden atop the cliffs on the shore of a great lake, she’s even enlisted the help of a beautiful girl detective.

• Girimi

Not long ago, this girl was a spirit hiding in the shadows. Whatever shadow she slipped into, she could transform to match it. After being the shadow of far too many people, she finally wanted to be herself for once, so Girimi picked out elements from her past forms and put them together into a new look. The style may be a little odd, but it goes surprisingly well with the one thing about her that has never changed.

• Karisa

Ask Karisa who she really is, and she might tell you she’s a weirdo codenamed “KRS,” or a girl cosplaying an obscure character with a long, long bird’s tail. Every single time, she’ll make a point of stressing that if there are any sightings or urban legends of giant birds in the area, she knows absolutely nothing about them, and that she has nothing whatsoever to do with the divine black bird of Chinese mythology. And yet, the look in her eyes when she denies all this makes it hard to believe she isn’t hiding something.

• Kiyuu

Kiyuu was once a cute high school girl in a video game world, until she hit some kind of bug and suddenly walked right out into the real world. She meant to find her way home through video games, but accidentally fell into the psychological traps that games set for players, and by the time she remembered her original goal, she’d already become a slightly socially anxious otaku. Unable to go home, Kiyuu has no choice but to find a way to keep surviving in Earth Online. As luck would have it, she came across VirtuaReal’s auditions—and for someone who originally lived in a virtual world, there’s probably no job more fitting than being a VTuber.
