This girl, who lives in a neighborhood of beastfolk, is a little painter whose fame has spread far and wide. Her unique technique can fulfill most of the fantasies the people around her have about what a “painting” can be.

Portraits, landscapes, sketches, Pictionary… One moment she’s pouring her whole soul into hilariously wonky doodles, and the next she’s using a quick sketch to capture the scene held in the heart of whoever asks her for a picture. She’s the youngest artist on this little street, and the one who makes people happiest.

Here’s hoping she keeps bringing joy to everyone around her, just as she always has.

“I wish I could be the plushie dangling from Her Ladyship’s bag.” “Is the student council looking for anyone? Full? Any unpaid crew spots left, then? Those are full TOO?!” “That upperclassman is the face of our school!!! The undisputed belle of all the campus belles!”

—Just another day in a certain university’s guys’ group chat

As the heiress of a great family, she has always been the talk of the school, though she herself rarely weighs in on any of it.

Whether out of good manners or because she grew tired of it all long ago, every day she dutifully wraps up her classes and club duties and heads straight home without lingering. Far from making her flock of admirers back off, this has only driven them into an even greater frenzy…

Maybe she punches a plushie or two when she gets home to blow off steam?

The gods born in the Land of Sichuan, where food culture runs incredibly deep, each oversee their own sphere of responsibility—things like “All the local chili peppers must grow up big and strong” and “The peppercorns over in the next town must never pack more of a punch than ours.” This young lady, meanwhile, presides over “To the people, food is everything, so make everyone who comes here fall in love with Sichuan cuisine.”

Ringing the bell to pray for a bumper crop of cooking ingredients this year; burning tall sticks of incense to pray that their shops will prosper; slipping notes into the wish box to complain about some restaurant that cuts corners and serves awful food… The list goes on and on. The locals do all sorts of things at her little shrine, and all that abundant faith let her gain a physical body faster than the other gods.

Now that she has a body, who knows whether she’ll work even harder at clobbering anyone who doesn’t put their heart into Sichuan cuisine, or leave her shrine to fend for itself, play absentee landlord, and run off to have a blast?
