Tocci, a star student at an alien university, came to Earth because his graduation thesis required him to experience the lives of other alien species. As soon as he landed, he met an elderly couple who longed for a child; using his powers, Tocci forged long, happy memories and became their son. That was the last time he used his powers before finishing his thesis. From then on, he lived as an ordinary person, though he clearly wasn’t very good at it. To get to know humans better, Tocci posed as a down-on-his-luck, run-of-the-mill college student and was taken in by a kindhearted circus ringmaster, becoming a clown just as he’d hoped. But between the industry’s decline, competition from the magician next door, and his own half-hearted attitude on the job, he got shunted off to the ticket booth to sell tickets. Just recently, Tocci noticed that his boss seemed to have built a formidable rival called the “Automated Ticketing System.” To avoid the total unemployment looming ahead, he decided to take his act online. “Anyway, I hope you’ll all support my musical dreams.” So said the bizarre clown—who had burst into the VirtuaReal office out of nowhere and been trussed up and tied to a pillar one second later—as he finished his story. Shortly after, he was hired.
More to come. Stay tuned.
